Genesis chapter 6 of the Bible is about God’s response to the widespread human “wickedness” and corruptness, which was supposedly caused by Nephilim, powerful beings that were the sons of “fallen angels” and human women. It was these sons who were described as giant beings and referred to as “men of renown” that caused widespread chaos which prompted God to cleanse the earth by “destroying all creatures under the sky” with “flood waters.”
