The Israel Antiquities Authority (IAA) announced on Tuesday that the young explorer, Ziv Nitzan, uncovered a scarab-shaped Canaanite amulet at Tel Azeka, a site near Bet Shemesh, 19 miles (30 kilometers) west of Jerusalem.
