In South Africa, about 150 km west of port Maputo, Mozambique, a giant stone city has been discovered. It became possible to determine the age of the site by measuring the erosion rate of the dolerite. The 1500 square kilometer metropolis was believed to have been built between 160,000 and 200,000 years ago!
